A wedding consultant since 2001, but drawing on years of experience in the hospitality sector, Mc Dermott has been attracting an increasing number of brides from the US to Ireland. Her skills at co-ordinating and planning every last detail of a special occasion have been described as 'translating vision with grace and professionalism'. US brides have traveled from New York, San Francisco, Texas, Florida, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, California, Georgia, Carolina, Colorado, Wisconsin and Boson to avail of her organizational and creative talent knowing that she can cater for the requirements of any number of guests, from 2 to 502, and can spend up to 300 hours organizing the perfect wedding. NASCAR reporter with ESPN and ABC, Shannon Spake, who celebrated her wedding in Adare Manor Hotel in 2008, was so enchanted by her experience that she has become the face of Dream Irish Wedding.

The Lodge at Doonbeg Golf Club sits in the tranquillity of its Co Clare, Ireland, location.
