We are very excited to be looking back at Katie and Brett’s stunning Castle Wedding in Ireland.
Hailing from California, Katie & Brett had made a number of visits to Ireland so once Brett had popped the question, they knew their wedding had to be in Ireland.
Brett’s priorities were for surfing & golf while Katie wanted the complete fairytale to marry in a castle. Ballyseede castle in Kerry ticked all the boxes!
On their wedding day Katie & Brett have such a gra for Ireland, they even spoke about moving here permanently!
Katie wore a stunning ivory Pronovias gown equally matched by Brett’s Tom Ford Tuxedo!
The stylish wedding was a mix of elegance and classic luxury with a casual air. The brides love of white flowers & candles was very evident from ceremony to reception.
All of the guests travelled from various parts of the USA for the three-day wedding. The celebrations started with a welcome party of music, food & drink in a local Irish pub. While day two many of the guests led by the groom played a round of golf and the non golfers along with Katie had a fab day trip to Killarney.The day finished with a scrumptious rehearsal dinner !
The wedding day kicked off with a beautiful Ceremony in the stone room celebrated by Celtic Monk Dara. There was hardly a dry eye in the room when the bride Katie walk down the aisle accompanied by her father. The moment was made all the more special by the wonderful processional music played by the Sirona Strings.
They sat down to a delicious gala dinner in the Castle Room washed down with lots of wine and champagne. When it came to cutting the wedding cake, the Groom relived a childhood dream of cutting the cake with a sword.
Entertainment played a big part in Katie and Brett’s wedding. During the cocktail reception in the orangery, a traditional Irish group entertained while after dinner the Torc Dancers provided a high-octane performance followed by live band Flog the Dog who kept the dance floor full all night.
And so ends another beautiful wedding planned and executed by Dream Irish Wedding. Always a special moment to get a photo with our couples.
Katie and Brett continued living the Ireland dream with a honeymoon in Ireland after the wedding.
