Having fallen in love with Ireland on their first trip here together in 2023, Ashley & Ryan knew they would come back. Fast forward two years and the couple returned for their Dream Irish Wedding at Mount Juliet Estate. This time, with their closest family and friends to exchange vows and celebrate the next chapter of their love story together as husband and wife. A celebration full of colour, personality and magic.
The Couple
Ashley & Ryan’s love story began in 2015, though it took a bit of persistence on Ryan’s part before their first date. His determination paid off and what started as one date quickly turned into an everlasting love. Their journey together has been filled with adventures, including multiple trips to Ireland that would lead them to the place where their wedding dreams would become reality.
The Destination: Mount Juliet Estate
Having briefly stayed in Mount Juliet Estate on their first visit to Ireland, Ashley and Ryan returned several times and fell in love with the location so much that they decided it was the perfect place for their Dream Irish Wedding.
In Ashley’s words:
“Mount Juliet is so beautiful, and the staff makes you feel like more than a guest. We knew we made the right decision about picking Mount Juliet for our venue when our guests ended up loving it as much as we did. Mount Juliet will always hold a special place in our hearts.”
In the lead up to their wedding day, Ashley & Ryan’s guests were treated to activities around the estate, including golf at the renowned Mount Juliet Estate golf club, horse riding on the picturesque grounds, fishing and archery. Guests had the chance to explore their surroundings and spend time together during this unforgettable celebration.
The Décor
Inspired by the elegance and romance of Bridgerton, the couple opted for pretty pastel shades of blues and pinks, Mount Juliet was transformed for the couple’s outdoor ceremony on the stunning lawn of the Manor House.
The Brigerton influence carried through not just in the styling and floral arrangements, but in the music and overall atmosphere of the celebration, creating a refined and romantic setting that reflected the couple’s personal taste and vision.
Every detail, from the floral arrangements to the table settings, came together to create a celebration that left guests talking long after the weekend ended.
When we asked Ashley about her highlight of the day, she shared:
“The highlight of our wedding day was being able to celebrate with all of our loved ones in a place that is special to us. The food, the decor, the flowers, all the details coming together were a sight to behold. Our friends and family are still talking about it. Being able to celebrate so freely was also due to the great planning from our planner, Michelle, the staff at Mount Juliet, and all the people involved to make it a stress-free celebration.”
Advice From the Couple
Ashley and Ryan kindly shared their advice for couples considering their own Dream Irish Wedding:
“Our advice for engaged couples getting married would be to hire that wedding planner! Michelle and her team were wonderful to work with. She executed our dream wedding perfectly. If something went wrong that day, I can assure you I did not know about it. It was flawless. I am not sure we could have planned a destination wedding without her. Also, another piece of advice is to just go with it. Not every detail is worth stressing over. Some things I just let Michelle choose and I had complete faith that I would love her decision. “
