A vibrant style and dazzling love brought Emily and Matt to Dromoland Castle for their Dream Irish Wedding, where celebrating with their closest friends and family was at the centre of their revelry.
The Couple
Having initially started as friends thanks to a well-timed work project, Emily and Mat’s relationship began to blossom. They finally went on their first date, 8 months after meeting each other and the rest is a love story they continue to write new pages in.

The Destination
Set in the stunning Co.Clare countryside, Dromoland Castle provided the perfect setting for this Dream Irish Wedding. As Emily shared, “We knew we wanted to get married in Ireland and we wanted a castle venue which was close to airports.”
There was also an element of family history in play as Emily continued, “We also knew my parents stayed there almost 30 years ago and took it as a sign.”

The Décor
Vibrant shades of pink stood out on this special day, from flowers to bridesmaids’ dresses, which turned heads everywhere they went. Dromoland Castle looked sensational with bright blooms adorning every table, creating a real feast for the senses.
Elegant elements like their hand-painted table plan and matching invites added to the natural balance of the occasion.

The Day
From the impressive St.Peter and Paul’s Cathedral in Ennis to the historic Dromoland Castle celebration, there were so many highlights to this magical day.
When asked, Emily said the couple’s highlight of the day was, “Seeing each other for the first time during the ceremony as we didn’t do a first look. It was very special and then we got to spend the drive back to Dromoland excitedly talking about the day so far and what was to come. We also, of course, loved when the dance floor opened and we could celebrate with our friends and family.”

The Advice
We ask all our couples for their advice to newly engaged couples planning a wedding. Having gone through the destination wedding planning process, Emily had this advice to share, “Focus on your top 3 things you want on your day and don’t sweat everything else. There are a million things that you can do, but as long as you check the boxes of what you absolutely need, you’ll be happy.”
She also said, “The biggest surprise was how little we had to worry about the little details once the. Weekend arrived, Michelle had everything settled and orderly that we were truly able to let go and enjoy!”

Thank you to our very talented creative team who came together to make sure Emily and Matt’s Dream Irish Wedding truly was a celebration to remember!
