Spring Celebrations

Each year, when spring comes around, it brings the start of the wedding season with it. In Ireland, Spring runs from February to April and sees the luscious green landscape start to awaken with wildflowers and daffodils popping up across the countryside.

The longer daylight hours mean plenty more natural light for your photos and the milder temperatures allow guests to be more comfortable. Wedding ceremonies at this time tend to be held indoors, although as the sun starts to make a more steady appearance in April, the option is there. Just be prepared for Spring showers, which generally pass quickly.

If you want to experience the natural beauty of Ireland with the freshest flowers and food options, Spring is a welcome choice for your dream Irish wedding.

Summer Setting

Once we make our way into May, the summer really sets in here in Ireland. From May to July, the Irish summer sees up to 16 hours of daylight, with sunset as late as 10pm in June. This provides the perfect setting for an outdoor ceremony or drinks reception. The warmer weather brings more options in terms of pre-wedding activities. For example, horse riding, golfing and day trips for guests to take in the beauty of their surroundings.

In general, Ireland comes alive during the summertime with local festivals and tourism adding to the welcoming atmosphere we’re known for.

There’s a reason summer is peak season for weddings in Ireland. The more reliable weather, longer daylight hours and abundant outdoor activity options make it a popular choice.

Autumnal Scenes

Autumn is quickly becoming a highly requested Dream Irish Wedding season due to the stunning natural setting and sophisticated atmosphere it provides. Autumn in Ireland runs from August to October and is known for the natural colour palette it produces. As the leaves on the trees turn orange, red and brown and the sun starts to set a bit earlier each day, a more inviting, cosy feel starts to come over every celebration.

The harvest season provides us with rich colours, rustic styling and seasonal menus that guests will remember long after your celebration.

Autumn is the perfect season if you’ve always dreamed of a more intimate, atmospheric wedding with the essential Irish warmth and hospitality.

Winter Wonderland

Winter weddings in Ireland from November to January create an enchanting celebration. While the temperature has dropped and daylight is shorter, there’s an extra sense of romance in the air because of it. Consider Irish castles and Manor houses with their roaring fires and twinkling lights creating the ultimate welcoming atmosphere for you and your guests.

Rich, luxurious colour palettes of dark reds, greens, purples and jewel tones carry well against a romantic candlelit backdrop.

If you love the colours and the lights of the festive season, or you want a more intimate celebration, winter in Ireland offers elegance and charm perfect for any setting.
